We said, “No, we need more songs”.<\/p>\n

This is the thirteenth book we’ve made and it’s rammed full of absolute stone-cold classics.<\/p>\n

This new book of songs has its own page on the Moselele site. Look, it’s here, Songbook 13<\/a>. To help you get familiar with the songs there is a Spotify playlist of all of the songs<\/a>. We find that listening to the songs is pretty well the most important part of getting to know the songs. Some people disagree but……<\/p>\n

As with all of the books we do we’ve kept them, where possible, in the same key that they were made in. There is a reason that most songs are not in C and we respect that reason. We’ve also tried to stick as closely as possible to the original song structure.<\/p>\n

All of the songs are also available in our song database<\/a>. You won’t be surprised to hear that they are easier to find if you filter for book 13 songs.<\/p>\n

This book has gone full-throttle girl pop. Just about all of the songs are from the last few years. We’re a quarter of the way into the new century and it’s probably time the ukulele world paid attention to it. All the old music is dead to us.<\/p>\n
