Every year, we bring together some of the greatest minds of a generation to assess the cultural landscape and identify a range of songs that summarise the current zeitgeist. This year is no different.

You can find the book on its own dedicated page, the Moselele Songbook 14 page, or if you’re stuck for time, you can just download it from here.

To really immerse yourself in the content and to better understand our motivations, we also suggest listening to the Spotify Playlist, which you can find here. Listening to the songs is surprisingly helpful when you’re trying to figure out how to play them.

This year we’ve got some songs that we’re very excited about. How have we been doing this for 16 years and not had any KLF in our books? We’ve also got more Chappell Roan, a first outing for Olivia Rodrigo, and yet more Fleetwood Mac. We’ve even, somewhat generously, let another Beatles song through, against all the advice.

This brings our total of songs up to almost 750. That’s a lot of songs. We’ve also been going back through old songs and making them a little bit more legible and fixing obvious errors in them. If you want to see our vast range of songs, then have a look at our song database

As always, our songs try to keep to the original key. There’s a reason people put it in that key, and we respect that.

If you’re another ukulele group, take any songs and use them. You don’t have to ask or credit us; we just want groups to play better songs.

Other than that, if this has been of interest to you, come and play these songs with us.
